Baked Brie

approx. 10 sheets Phyllo Dough, thawed

Spray Canola oil

one small round Brie cheese

1 jar Suzanne's Sweet Savories Blueberry or Pear Dazz'

~Preheat oven to 350F

~Spray a round cake or roasting pan, approx 8-9".

~Lay down Phyllo dough sheets one at a time at different angles and orientations in the pan, spinning a little bit each time and leaving some of the dough sticking off the edge of the pan. Spray each phyllo sheet well before placing the next one on top.

~Cut brie into thin triangles, and distribute these in the bowl-like space created by the phyllo dough.

~Gently pour Suzanne's Sweet Savories Blueberry or Pear Dazz' on top of and in between the brie triangles.

~Fold in the edges of phyllo dough that extend over the edge of the pan, to mostly cover the ingredients inside.

~Spray the phyllo dough on top thoroughly

~Bake until golden brown on top, about 15 min.

~Serve warm as an appetizer.

    Travels well to an outdoor concert picnic.

Slow grilled Pork 

 

2 Pork Chops or your preferred cut (thicker will cook slower)

1 jar Suzanne's Sweet Savories Apple Dazz'

 

Grill method:

~Heat grill to a high temperature.

~Sear pork for one minute or so, then flip to sear other side for one minute.

~Turn down gas grill or move pork into indirect heat.

~Glaze with a thick layer Suzanne's Sweet Savories Apple Dazz'

~Cover and Slow cook pork to make it very tender, and to caramelize the Apple Dazz’.~Rotate, but no need to flip again. Remove from grill when internal temperature is 145F

 

Stovetop method:

~Heat a frying pan to a high temperature.

~Sear pork for one minute or so, then flip to sear other side for one minute.

~Turn down heat to medium-low.

~Glaze with a thick layer Suzanne's Sweet Savories Apple Dazz'

~Cover and Slow cook pork to make it very tender, and to caramelize the Apple Dazz’. ~Rotate but no need to flip again. Remove from pan when internal temperature is 145F

~Serve with caramelized onions, roasted potatoes and salad.

Recipes

Roasted Vegetable Wrap 

2 portobello mushrooms

2 onions

4 cloves of garlic

4 - 6 whole wheat wraps, depending on size

Suzanne's Sweet Savories Tomato Dazz'

~Preheat oven to 400F

~Spray a shallow roasting pan, approx. 11” x 13".

~Chop vegetables into medium pieces, except for garlics.

~Spray vegetables on top and Roast for about 30 min, or until soft.

~Cut garlics into smaller pieces, if desired.

~Lay out a wrap.

~Spread a long swath of Suzanne's Sweet Savories Tomato Dazz' down the center.

~Layer vegetables on top, forming a rectangle of filling in the middle of the wrap.

~Fold bottom of wrap up, then Close sides of wrap around filling, like a burrito.

~Serve as a luscious and nutritious lunch or dinner.

 

Note: Vegetables could be roasted in advance, and if desired, lightly reheated before using.
